Your blog is a great place to share relevant content with customers and prospects. However, there are other places on your website that could also benefit from quality content. These pages don’t need to be updated as frequently as your dealership’s blog, but including this content in your overall marketing strategy can help you to drive even more traffic and convert visitors into leads.
The ‘news room’ is a common feature in website navigation, however, on most websites it’s often found to be out of date. Think of your newsroom almost like a second blog where you discuss events, product updates, awards or mentions of your dealership (or if possible, OEM) in the news. Aim to update this section at least once a month in order to keep the content looking fresh.
Make it easy for consumers to find the information they need by keeping at all in one-central location on your website. If you’ve got a lease calculator, information about getting approved for a loan, or a car configuration tool, this is the place to keep it. Don’t forget to include warranty information, highlight unique new car features and some awesome calls to action!
While your resource center is focused on new customers, the learning center’s content should be created with existing customers in mind. Here’s where you can unleash some helpful car-related tips in detail (think how-to videos, seasonal car care tips, getting the most value for your trade-in, etc.). You may even want to re-purpose some of this content to be shared on your dealership’s blog.
Reviews & Testimonials
More and more customers are actively seeking out peer reviews before purchasing a new car, or deciding where to take their existing vehicle for service. As reviews play an increasingly important role in the buying cycle, dealership should look at adding user generated content to their website. Our MiCast page makes it easy for dealers to capture reviews and testimonials from customers, and rebroadcast that content to Facebook and Twitter.
